Karni Mata Temple In Bikaner, (Rajasthan Devdarshan)

 The Karni Mata Temple, located in Deshnok, around 30 km from Bikaner, Rajasthan, is one of India's most unique and revered temples. Dedicated to Karni Mata, a 15th-century Hindu sage believed to be an incarnation of Goddess Durga, the temple is famous for its thousands of sacred rats, known as kabas, that freely roam within the premises.

Devotees feed them milk, grains, and sweets, considering it auspicious if a rat runs over their feet. Among these, spotting a white rat is believed to bring good fortune, as they are considered manifestations of Karni Mata herself.

The temple is most vibrant during Navratri, when thousands of devotees visit to offer prayers. Despite housing so many rats, the temple remains remarkably clean, and there has never been a case of disease spread due to them.
