Ranakpur Jain Temple in Ranakpur, (Rajasthan Devdarshan)

 Ranakpur Jain Temple, located in the Pali district of Rajasthan, is one of the most magnificent and important Jain temples in India. Dedicated to Lord Adinath, the first Tirthankara of Jainism, this temple is renowned for its breathtaking architecture, intricate carvings, and spiritual significance.

Built in the 15th century under the patronage of Rana Kumbha, the ruler of Mewar, the temple stands as a masterpiece of Maru-Gurjara architecture. It is constructed entirely from white marble and features a grand structure supported by 1,444 intricately carved pillars, each with a unique design. The temple has 29 halls and 80 domes, all adorned with exquisite detailing that showcases remarkable craftsmanship. The main sanctum houses a stunning idol of Lord Adinath, beautifully sculpted in white marble.

One of the most fascinating aspects of the temple is its architectural symmetry. Despite having so many pillars, no two are identical, and no matter where one stands inside, at least one of the idols of Lord Adinath is always visible. The ceilings feature intricate floral and geometric patterns, adding to the temple’s divine aura.
